My first memory of Chauncey actually goes back to Student Orientation Leader group interviews earlier this year. The group was split into two smaller groups for an exercise and Chauncey and I happened to be in the same group. I remember him having really good ideas during the exercise and I thought he seemed like a really cool person. Fast forward to both of us becoming SOLs and by getting to know him through trainings, I found that he is not only a cool person, but he is also incredibly down-to-earth, hilarious, and extremely talented!

One of my favorite memories of Chauncey is when I made a groupchat with the Student Ambassadors and out of nowhere he changed the name to "The Bass" and changed the avatar to a picture of a bass in a UC shirt. I don't know if he took the time to edit a UC shirt onto a fish or it was just lying around in his photo gallery but now it’s our unofficial mascot.

Unfortunately, I don’t think I ever had the chance to work with Chauncey very much as SOLs outside of trainings. But now that we're Ambassadors, we're working together as mentors so I'm looking forward to being able to work with him more this semester!
