SOL applications have opened this past week so this past week I spent most of my time talking up the position to my mentees and students of UCBA.

 

Just last Thursday I popped into the Sister Circle meeting here at UCBA to talk with some of the members about the SOL position. Everyone there seemed interested and I even had one person ask lots of questions about the position so I see that as a good sign of interest! 

 

One of my mentees that I got in contact with is also interested in the position and is attending one of the information sessions next week. After the session, we're planning on video chatting so I can talk to her about my personal experience of being a SOL. It's crazy to think that just last year I was in the position of deciding whether or not to fill out that application, so I hope that I can encourage as many people as I can to apply because I'm so glad I decided to!
