Week 3
This week has definitely been a busy week compared to last week!
This past week consisted of continuing to plan for mentor groups which included submitting sign-up forms and invitations and creating an introduction video to explain who we are and what we hope students get out of this program.
Also, this past Thursday was our first Ambassador meeting so it was great to "see" everyone again and share any questions, concerns, or ideas that we had with each other! Last week I was feeling a bit nervous about our mentor groups because I felt like after us mentors talked about everything we had more questions than answers so it worked out perfectly that this meeting was this week because after that meeting I felt way more confident about the direction we're heading.
This upcoming week, for our first mentor program event we're planning on having a sort of meet and greet before we dive into official meetings and 1:1 sessions just so the students can figure out what this program is about and we can all get to know each other. I'm so looking forward to starting mentor groups and I can't wait to write all about it next week! :)
