This past week I didn't work any events, but there were plenty of other Ambassador duties to keep me busy. I'm one of the Ambassadors working on the Peer Mentor Program again this semester and this past Thursday I hosted our first event. But before Thursday, I spent the entire week emailing students, compiling students' emails, creating a Powerpoint, etc. I think the event on Thursday went pretty well, though! We didn't have very many students show up, but the ones that did were super engaged and seemed like they were excited for the upcoming events we have scheduled for the rest of the semester. As a part of the Peer Mentor Program, we are each assigned a group of mentees, so this upcoming week is going to be dedicated to having our 1;1 meetings with them. So far I have one 1:1 scheduled for Monday afternoon so I'm looking forward to that!
